The Summer Rain

It rained whilst we were dancing
and our clothes became wet through.
Your blouse clung to your body
and I got closer to you.

We kissed and danced as it poured
and our body heat rose in the air.
The music was soft and romantic
and our hands were everywhere.

Our clothes fell onto the balcony
in the warm August rain,
but still we kept on dancing
as our passions remained.

Flashes of lightening and thunder
brought a chill to the air,
so we danced into the bedroom
and continued in there.
