Boyng! Boyng!
As it jumped across the ground it went boyng! boyng!
its pace was fast and its leap was long.
The creature grinned as it passed me by
with its hands in its pocket it jumped so high.
It wasn’t long before it disappeared from view,
but then I could hear the boyng! boyng! of two.
As they jumped across the ground they went boyng! boyng!

with their hands in their pockets they jumped so high.
It wasn’t long before they had disappeared from view,
but then I could hear the boyng! boyng! of many more than two.
As they jumped across the ground they went boyng! boyng!

and that was the last time I heard the boyng! boyng! of the kangaroo.
