As You Know
For quite sometime
I haven't felt right.
I've been feeling disjointed,
screwed up and uptight.
But then you spoke
with a look in your eye,
it was then that I knew
you'd been living a lie.
Whilst we made love
the truth was hidden away.
You just went through the motions,
and you didn't say.
When I think back
it's been like this for a while,
you've a cowardly deceiver
with a lying smile.
My stomach's churning,
and I feel sick inside,
but I'm not like you,
and I cannot lie.
I don't want to see your face
or listen to your lies.
Face up to the truth,
this is our last goodbye.
