In This Short Span..

I couldn't gather much from
This wonderful world!
As I came near to it,
It stepped back and furled.
So tiny I'm under the vastness
Of Nature and God's every craft!
I thought and knelt down,
To utter my prayer rapt.
I wanted to be one with
His colossal immense power.
I begged for his pure touch,
And blessings to shower.
'Mercy is the first virtue,
Which purifies a human mind.
You must be then near to me,
Shed your ego and be kind.
In this short span of life,
Nothing sticks to its place.
Time squeezes secs from us,
And we lag behind in race.
The milk of human kindness
Should drip in every soul,
Bad or good we can't judge
We have to play our role.
