To Attain
Engage in deception of the order we attain
To astound our enemies and count leading.
A stately ritual has been born from the fires,
Sadly, the wars have shunned us and left them.
My time goes by, hating one another as if quiet
Exited to be replaced by tomorrow’s bill;
Curse the swallowing of morsels to do with God,
Take on destruction and vile acts just to please us.
