What if I were to lie
Would you stay or say goodbye
What if I were sick, would you still want to come by
What if I were to die
I want to know would you even cry?

What if our love died
And could no longer abide
What if I cheated, would you let it slide?
If I needed you, would you be by my side?

In my mind's eye
I see clearly the falseness, our lie
Potential wasted years, the unshed tears and mirrored fears
