Being Supportive
best friends along the way,
how do you let them go?
i been through thick and thin,
how can i be supportive?
i want what's best for them,
but i can't let them go,
i know it selfish to hold them close,
but the chance to never see them again,
is not what i want,
i've been through enough pain,
to last a life time,
could tthat be why i can't let go?
they are what holding me together,
and if they leave,
will i be strong enough to recover?
i know that how i feel,
is not as strong,
as the power to move on,
and try new things,
guess it's time to let go,
and be supportive.
