Thinking Of You
the whole time i was with somebody else,
all i can think about was you,
i know it's wrong,
but things are different with you,
you are unique in your own way,
at times you know it,
you know how to be yourself,
and not try to impress me,
by being somebody else,
around you,
i'm learning that it ok,
to dress up and be myself,
something i wasn't able to do in a while,
i was afraid to be me,
i would hate the attention,
but i don't want anybody's attention,
i just want yours,
that not normally me,
but everything i want,
is already inside of you,
i don't need anybody else,
i'm not settling for less,
it feels like i'm finally settling for more,
what i should of did all along,
but it hard to find somebody,
somebody who gives me what i want,
and at the same time,
put me in my place when i need to be,
it not such a bad thing.
