The Road to Ride
What if the road were different
where would I be, where will I be going
what would the future hold, did i take risks
or did i stay put, some regrets, many buts?
am I on the right track, should i stay or go
you never can go back, always forward
the past lies behind, good or bad
it can't be changed, forgotten maybe
put a side or stored forever
many twists and turns, Ups and downs
left and rights, many wrong turns
lessons to be learned.some repeated
many years to figure it out
time running fast, will it last
the road narrows as time goes by
aged and bumpy, abused by wear and tear
would I jump to a new road or stay on the old
wondering so much, did I care much
not really, but who cares
enjoying the ride I have, no regrets
just need to be more aware
of the dangers and falls ahead
this road will be my final ride
enjoy it along the way
to the sunset above
