The clouds are dark
and heavy
and my baby's heart
is lonely and blue
for her love
taken from her.
My heart is aching
but there's nothing I can do
for some things in this world
which I have no control.

Oh, I beg you
please let it rain
so I could see the rainbow
in the sky
and the rainbow
in her eyes
when the rain is over
and her heartache
....gone.
