What Do I Do

what do i do- when i'm old and gray
and the years have just slipped away.
what do i do- when i can no longer see
and no one around to comfort me.
what do i do- when friends and family have died.
and there are no more tears to cry.

what do i do- when i can no longer walk.
and no one around, with whom to talk.
what do i do- when i can't collect
all the money i've lent
and my life savings i've just spent.

WHAT DO I DO? i turn to the one
who has always been there
and my problems with who i could share.

i turn to the one who has never forsaken me.
and has made my heart fly free.
i turn to my GOD up above
who is my heart, my soul, my love.

he'll be there when i can no longer see
and his words will comfort me.
he'll be there when i can no longer walk
on that i'm sure he will not balk

he'll be there through my financial strife
and turn everything around in my life.
he is there every step of the way
and on this path- he will not stray.
