Fresh Dirt
They were relieved!
They had finally found something negative,
To hold against me.
I was relieved too.
They can finally find something to do with their lives.
They had been searching for years.
I did the best I could to leave some dirt on the surface.
I had to redo most of it.
Since I wanted them to find fresh dirt.
And an opportunity to do 'something' else,
Before they ran out of time...
To at least catch up with it!
And I'm still accused of being thoughtless.
I can't believe it!
And that dirt was at least three or four years old.
Well...
It was the best I could do!
