Cows Can Be Found To Lay Lifeless On The Ground
Honey,
The cow lays outside.
And it appears to me,
To be dead.
'Who drank the last of the milk?
And left an empty carton in the frig?
I keep telling the kids not to ever do this.'
Honey,
I think we need a bigger home.
Everyone else seems to think the same way.
All of the 'For Sale' signs,
Has potential to lower our investment.
'Has anyone called the gardener?
My roses appear to be wilting.'
I was at Jimmy's school the other day,
And soon they will be closing it.
I'm glad they are!
Every time I park the car...
Those ruthless kids that live across the tracks,
Always manage to leave their fingerprints on it.
And I am sick and tired of telling that principal there,
I am not going to have any more of that.
Illiterate heathens.
'Buy a new one.'
I went to the mall the other day,
To purchase a flat screen TV for the garage...
To replace the old one,
That seems to want to collect nothing but dust.
And there I saw the people watching this news program,
Discussing the economy.
And how eventually its failure is going to affect us.
'Are you sure the cow is dead?
Or is it just taking a nap!
This is the season when cows can be found,
To lay lifeless on the ground to do that! '
Honey...
What time do you want 'your' wake up call?
