Ode to the Enneagram.
The great question arrived, who am I?
Which number is my personality, is it sure or is it a tie?
For the moment I do some of all nine,
But I am sure neither is my line.
I am a child of the Universe; I have no boredom
With my present knowledge of wisdom.
My best number always leads me to progress,
Seeing all sides in constant awareness.
Progress through #1 is when I am hard working,
Focused, dedicated and measure everything.
Then I am the #2 who is flattering, responding to needs,
Keep busy doing my good deeds.
Certainly the #3 fits too as I walk away from negativity,
Feeling capable, successful, efficient, have future oriented identity.
Here comes #4 as a creative analyzer,
My artwork, poems, hobbies all shows my inner encounter.
As a #5 I see life as a series of experiences,
I analyze, absorb & enjoy the adventure, in hope to get wisdom to access.
The #6 life just gives me a little part, as I am busy,
Responsible, opinionated, & need more information accordingly.
#7 gives me the wish to question all things, optimistic & be happy,
Seeing new interest on many places to be always perfectly healthy,
The #8 is practical, knows how to overcome any obstructions,
Strong in mind and in body to face all situations.
Organized and direct in all communication,
Finished with #9, pleasant & friendly, in true peace & harmony in any condition.
I have chosen Life and never malediction,
Calling everything 'good' for my own evolution.
My life is true contentment in what I am,
Understanding others around me, to them I have a salaam.
I became the number what many will have one day,
Enjoying life, understanding all, in heaven is my highway.
That is the zero, the most perfect number, when there is no more ego,
I am doing the work of my creator, I let God, all else I let go.
