True love inspires hope
hope that love is forever and true
one hopes that with love one can elope
their heart with thee, thine heart that's you.
The absence of my life, where art my love?
in day chimera, in my hope meek?
throughout my sorrow deep, in my transports above
with hope I seep, for love I seek
I hope... Wanting love that is not true, forever and lasting
I hope for love through and through
by my hope, for love's hope, truly casting
my eye on love, my eye on you...
