The sun won't shine-The flowers won't bloom-Your presence would brighten-This gloomy room-Come back to me-And mend my heart-I'm so sad and blue-Since we are apart-You found another-And went far away-So often I dreamed-You'd come back some day-I heard from a friend-Your love proved untrue-And you wished thae we-Could start life anew.
