Humble Dwelling

I grew up in a humble dwelling,
Filled with fighting, chaos, yelling!
The walls were thin, the rooms were small,
Through hallways we heard mother call.

I went to school and played with friends,
And never questioned to what ends.
Then I grew up and joined the army,
(Hoping that no one would harm me) .

Afterwards I settled down,
And raised a family in a town.
And still I have a humble dwelling,
Filled with fighting, chaos, yelling!
