On the Outside
Chalice of molten thunder
Pounding hoofs steeds of steel
Time bends like shredded clocks
Gates invisible like Hunter Thompson
Reality is a pool filled with eyes
Malice sighs along the juggernaut
Waning moon tries too cry
Everything fills with angry red
I await fortune in black lace
Out of sync chariot wheels
Race of oblivion while the desert burns
I am lost without your thighs
Stolid magicians control the night
Drunk with Dionysus
Gowns of sequin
Crass façade of golden smiles
Meet the pirates of flash
Meet the same circles of temptation
Fragments of the image of man
Temples filled with moneychangers
Streets as bland as endless rain
Where does this desolate road lead too?
Tales of the converted barbarians
The owners of stolen land
On the outside waiting for stars
