A Writer's Room
A desk by a window
A quiet room with a few antiques
Two book shelves and the internet
I visit so many poets and writers
Dawn shines on wood floors
Trees in the yard always inspire
They’re so real and unpretentious
They teach us beauty is being ourselves
The sun rises, latter the moon
Silence and ticking clocks
Pictures and photos that mean something
Sometimes I put on some music
Some can write anywhere
I seem to gather inspiration
A hot cup coffee and I am ready to go
I like this room for writing
My muse seems to like this old house
