FOCUS
Season seeds another season’s seeds
Until all seasons cease with Time’s decease.
Reason reads another reason’s redes -
Understanding seldom sees increase.
Needs release still greater needs, each feeds
Non obstat on each other, ne’er at peace
Unless breeze ripples rush to stir the reeds
As when the pregnant cloudbanks grey release
Gaudy Iris, water-weighed, which leads
Everything to infinite release.
Garner feelings, disregarding creeds,
Retain true focus for fair golden fleece
Is found within heart's harmony which heeds
Simplicity, not ink lined frontispiece!
