The clock invites the child to have fun
grandfather's clock
wakes the three year old
rosy cheeked chubby child
with its ding dong song
to spell out to him a day
of fun: 'Come let's
go out for some games.
dont let time run away.'
and the child replies: 'Yes,
yes, i would love to have
some fun with you. first please
teach me how to walk the
way you do, bouncing
up and down, to and fro
without a care of the world.'
