Jimi Hendrix (altered poem)
Jimi Hendrix was a figure
In Sixties rock.
He seemed so full of life and vigour
His early death was a tragedy
And gave his followers a shock.
Those were the days
When songs like 'Are You Experienced'
And 'Purple Haze'
Were popular,
And Jimi's dexterity would amaze
His fans,
He'd started quite a craze.
His sudden death
(He took too many sleeping pills)
Propelled him into immortality,
The Man became a Myth.
