Prevail
The woman in labour travails
No trouble forever prevails
Darkened hearts take off your veils
Life's bumpy road aches and frails
Your worries leave behind black trails
On which speeds wrinkle's train
Betrayed ones do not feel like Cain
Leave behind your practiced disdain
The pain will not forever remain
And no, life is not in vain.
We all conquered, saw and came
The ones who failed had felt the same
Regrets insist someone must take the blame
And it insists on your name
Oh you crooked being named Shame
We hear of you and your twisted fame
Don't come here and spoil today
You leave behind a mess alway
Please just go and go your way
We all mean it when we say
No man with you would love to play
No not now, not ever nor any day.
Oh little, little, little boy
With the yellow, yellow, cool toy
I see your heart be filled with joy
Yet you cannot wait to be a big boy
Tsk, tsk, tsk, don't grow up its just a coy
That's why they feed you, an adult ploy
To make you be like them, now begins your toil
Is that a yellow, yellow Mercedes you play with boy?
How much sweat had to dropp on foil?
You do know you'll constantly feel it with oil
Welcome to the grown maze coil
Don't let your temperature boil
You'll be fine if you could just find that yellow toy
Which gave you so much joy.
Oh dear man with the loving wife
Close your eyes when outside and you'll be free from strife
Open them when home to the good thing given you, your wife
The girls you seek, seek to destroy your life
Ask the man with 300 wives
Or that Samson that felt Delilah's knife
If I may ask, oh dear girl with the pretty eyes
Why tune your eyes to him in whose arm lies
Another, whom you make cry
Till you find your own don't take away her own, wave bye
And time and waves will bring yours by.
