Tired of hurting
You said you would be happy everytime you saw me,
the funny thing was I actually believed you would,
what was it that made this come to be?
I thought you could,
I thought you were strong,
But life can tear you weak,
I was wrong,
A tear from my eyes will leak,
You prmised you would smile,
But instead your everything but,
Im left walking the lonely mile,
Im only glad you have not cut,
Im tired of getting hurt,
Its like getting burnt,
It leaves bad marks until they heal,
or like a sun burn that will peel,
I cant take being sad anymore,
my mind and heart are now sore,
I promised you I'd smile and forget my past,
I kept it cuz I want us to last.
