Will I Forget You?
When the sun
refuses to
rise in the
east
no longer
sets in the
west.
When tomorrow
never dawns
the night
remains,
darkness is
permanent.
Our music stops
playing
not a sound is
heard,
the world lies
in silence.
I can no longer
depend on my
muse
to guide heart
and hand,
pen and paper
lie in silence
beside me,
not a word
forth comming.
As my eyes close
for the last time
I breathe my final
breathe
Will I forget you?
No,
not even then
I will always
remember.
