Rose Garden

I watched you in your
garden,
Roses growing every-
where.
Flowers were so lovely,
Perfume filled the air.

Touching them so
gently,
Creating a bouquet,
Tieing yellow
ribbons,
So they would'nt blow
away.

As I left the garden,
On that summer day
I turned and looked
once more,
Then slowly walked
away.

I admire your lovely
garden,
So happy I would be,
If I were the rosebud,
You touched so
tenderly.
