Folded Wings
Folded wings to
retreat
finding a secure
sanctuary.
as a wounded dove
searching for a
peaceful enviroment.
forever in flight
always seeking-never
finding.
going to the well
again and again
leaving empty.
with a tear in her
eye
loneliness apparent
with folded wings
retreats.
