Broken Glasses

Leon Heart once needed a blanket
He was feeling cold being winters hostage
He found a blanket to hold him tight
But it stood there staring at him in a smile

He chased it for long over a mile
Grew so tired after a while
And chose stop running this marathon
As soon as the blanket dropped him a thorn

We never wanted to play these games
We looked at the menu then ordered the plate
We never wanted to run this silly race
But now it's over we can walk away
But not without this anguishing shame

Billy Ray asked Miss. Johns for some honey
She however warned him it'd mess with his tummy
He didn't listen, he ate the honey
And latter on, he was crying for mommy
Cause soon enough the candy had to flow
He found it hard letting it go

All we wanted was a bit of a warning
And if not some flowers for the mourning
We cut our thumbs and we couldn't count the damage
We looked around but we couldn't find a bandage

Susan green was allergic to flowers
She smelt a couple then waited an hour
Soon the swelling consumed her face
She never quiet after looked the same

Mistakes will always be made in life
They are lessons learnt but the show must go on
Once you're bitten you'll be twice as shy
But the glasses are broken and nothing can be done
