Heartbeat pounds in your ears
Pain courses through you like fire
Tears trickle down your face; like diamonds; like ice
Confusion is your only thought
Questions race to you; from you; through you
Hope refreshingly appears; cleansing like water
Despair returns; drying up hope; panic returns
Submission to these pulsating emotions
Loss of control; of innocence
