To Clear All Air

To clear all air:
honesty's unburdened body,
embodied in sharing a single
unobstructed breath.

Its okay once again to breathe at ease
feel the full embrace of that liberating breeze

we've broken past shackles
nothing now stands in the future's way
life once again fresh, beginning anew today

freedom of being reborn felt
in the shoulders returning slack
crossing emancipation's threshold
without fear of looking back

pressure of precarious suspension lifted
footing atop the ground once again found
pride restored to truth's untouchable stride

inhale deep,
let the sweet self revealing serum
of the sodium penathol steep,
close your eyes,
take a long last look at
what you've been holding inside,
now on the count of three,
let us take our turns
and release

unlevied liberation
all night speakeasy celebration
repeal of self taxing vexation
as thus ends the era
of unspoken prohibition,
and we move on
forging forward, light as air,
unscathed by the strange judge's stare

open line of communication
steady life line support
be there anything in the world
or this life more humanly heartfelt and holy?
Dedicated to:
every honest loving never judging openhearted family.
