The dreams of the immigrant
the hopes of the native
when the sweat meets the soil
the dollar the hands of the needy
the dance of waves upon Chilean shores
the fires still kindling upon the reservations
the African rivers the Alaskan Storms
the heights of New Zealand the Amazonian basins
the mist above the hills
the lone lotus in the forest
the sacred rituals the sexual release
electricity of the city
through all life
channeling from coast to coast
the long sigh of the buffalo's ghost
the great spirit echoes
