To Be In The Veldt
(after Robert Browning)
Oh, to be in the veldt while its spring
to see all the wildflowers rising,
to hear the birds, the bees
as they sweetly sing
with the greenness in every grass and leaf,
the blushing colour of the eve
might be the greatest blessing
a beautiful, very great thing.
