The darkness cannot quench
The darkness cannot quench
the light that You forked in me
where Your flames branched down sizzling
and even if destiny tries to stunt me uncannily
you free me from its tyranny
from the ghosts that accompanies it
and bit-by-bit you lead me to Your light
through this life, right through the night.
