It was in a light blue sky
It was in a light blue sky
on a cloudless day,
that images with great speed.
swept out of the sun
We cheered as the war planes
passed overhead
and waved at Mirages,
but they were enemy Migs.
Missiles and bombs dropped
and a destroyed buffel apc burned
and my ears resounded,
while I rolled into a ditch and saw the planes
turning and pitching away.
