An Abundant Light

When the sun breaks through the sombre clouds,
It's as if all the hells' own darkest shrouds,
Have suddenly been lifted from the eyes,
And one finally perceives, limitless skies
Alive with such an abundant light,
As if all the Lord's most powerful might
Has blazed its way, from his heavenly home,
To form a huge and spacious dome,
Across this world, our precious earth,
A wondrous sight, of such vast worth
That it inspires us in an amazing way,
His laws to know, his words to obey.
