The Only Words That Remain
blast furnace...
molded by turmoil
and endless struggle,
faces scorched by the trials,
endured and survived....
stripped naked, no baggage,
no need for guile.
the all of all on the altar,
the heart beaten honest....
and the only words that remain.....
...............are soul!
