To the nasty remarks
I've turned deaf ears
I've behaved rather contrary
To my own best judgement
Jeering and taunting
I've stomached with pride
All in the name of love
My undying love for you
They feel love has blinded me
But in reality love has awaken me
Awaken me to the true truth
That love invigorates
That love emboldens
Gives you something to live for
That is why I can do anything
All in the name of my love
For a beauty like you
They are waiting impatiently
For the day you will dump me
They are eager to prove
That I have all the time been wrong
And that they have been right
But I am assuredly sure
Their doomsday will never come
My sun will grace the skies
All the days of our lives
Constantly conforming to the cravings
Of my pleasing princess
