Time No Friend
Time, you are no friend
'Cause you don't hang around.
You're always on the go you know.
Your clock hands always wound
ready to spring
and ready to ring
your alarm to startle me
and my friendly reverie.
Time, you are no friend.
You just keep movin' on.
Will you never stop and shake my hand
before we both are gone?
