The Heart That's
The heart that's cold
can turn to stone
and never be the same.
To soften it
you must accept
that maybe you're to blame.
The heart that's sick
can lose its will
to beat with intensity.
To make it heal
you must find love
so it can know immensity.
For the heart is always
in search of love
and will try to find a way
to wait with hope
and try to cope
forever and a day.
