Fairytale Thinking
My mind creates a twisted vine
and sometimes strangles a thought.
Did Jack and the beanstalk feel like this
with those beans he bought?
Oh that my mind would settle down
and let that vine disappear
I'd slay that Giant just like Jack
and never have to fear
anything.
