The Fetus (Abortus) Speaks:
I am wholesome;
I am handsome;
I am your boy;
I’ll give you joy!
But,
They cut membranes,
And drained waters;
I gasped for air,
But they didn’t care.
They cut my neck;
They nipped my legs;
They pierced my head,
And sliced me through.
They dismembered
Me, while alive!
I writhed in pain,
And bled to death.
I am their own;
They me disown;
What cruelty
Is feticide?
Is this my mom?
Is womb, my tomb?
Is this my pop?
Their love’s a flop!
God called my name;
They killed sans shame;
I am unborn;
Haven’t seen a dawn!
‘What have you done?
Why have you done?
It was no fun;
You’ve killed your son! ’
’Tis OK, Lord.
They didn’t heed word;
They aren’t my foes.
Who brought me woes.
Dear God, I pray,
‘Forget this day;
Forgive the souls
For their bad roles! ’
