SONNET: Thanks anyway
For all the love and respect, you showed me,
For all the cards, you sent me so lovely!
For all your ways, obedient; thoughts, kindly;
I thank you truly and whole-heartedly.
For all the affection, you'd shown to me;
For all the kind inquiries, you had made;
For all your help in patient-care mainly;
I pray God that His love shall never fade!
For all the pains, you'd taken to see me;
For all the words of love, you'd kept suppressed;
For all your help to me, personally;
I pray that God keeps you never depressed.
Just keep your cool and blast ahead!
Life has both Roses and Thorns, in its bed!
