Sonnet- The World Could Be One Nation

Can not this world become a Paradise?
If man respects and loves his neighbour well,
Humanity should relinquish sin/vice,
Can then anyone ever go to hell?

Can not an air, unpolluted, we breathe?
Can not the water drunk, remain quite sweet?
Can not man find shade, every tree beneath?
Why should we kill one another or beat?

If you could love and practise charity!
How can a person die of starvation?
When gone away from earth is poverty,
Humanity will become one nation.
0 God, will not that day be usher'd in,
When earth shall Heaven be and wiped be sin.
