It is true, I have loved,
About fifty times, I have loved
And each time I have loved,
The more I have loved...
And in you I have loved,
At the most I have loved,
At the best I have loved,
Because you are loved...
And if that isn't love,
As some would call love,
Then they don't know love
And may never know love...
Yet, for me, this is love,
For the one that I love,
For as long as I love,
Near the heart that I love
Of the sweetheart I love...
And you are my sweetheart, my love...
