Lost and Found
For so long my heart was trapped in darkness,
My soul was filled with pain,
No one will ever know my sorrow,
It just felt like there would be no tomorrow.
Then one day you were lurking,
In the deep shadows of my mind,
I asked myself why I felt so lost,
Was it You I was meant to find?
I watch You from a distance,
Yet Your presence was is clear,
To me You are a mystery,
You are so far away,
Yet so very near.
Now You are always with me,
Of that fact I'm sure,
I am safe in Your presence,
Forever more.
My God You found me,
When I had no hope of being found,
My heart and soul rejoice now,
The darkness is no more around.
