Long Night
You're
Alone;
And you're cold and it's dark and you are
So hopelessly and desperately alone
And
There is no one beside you so you whisper,
You whisper out loud;
'Is there anybody there?
Someone to
Hold my hand? '
And
The Darkness comes out and traces your
Fingers;
Its breath is in time with yours as it
Lays down beside you
And it's then that you realise that you've
Never really been
Alone.
