Spring Soliloquy to Allergy
Powdered gold of pollen
Hanging lazily in the sun
Shaken loose from pungent blossoms
Gilding silken webs…newly spun
Tis the fairy dust
Of the newborn season
And the most likely reason
For all my sneezing’
