The Chronicles Of A Dark Heart Part 21 To Start Again
Here we are
Once again stuck in the tar
Suppressing feelings, fighting myself, and yelling RAWR!
Now I have to get over her
And not be tempted by her beautiful allure
I have to destroy my feelings of love
Cage myself in my prison like a trapped dove
Only this time I won't fly
This time I wait till I move or die
I'll put myself back in the cage
This time not building up rage
Not gonna turn the page
Gonna stay
In conundrum, imbroglio, and debacle, each equally fey
I start this chronicle yet again
As I'm locked in my emotional pen
Back to square one, nay square negative one
Because in this battle, my deceitful heart has won
Back to where we started... battle far from won
Even backtracked a little and lost some ground
I may not be found-
Alive though I hope so
Brace
Yourself
As I write again write in haste, run at my pace
Run straight into death, in dead sprint, because the end of race
Gets closer the faster I run
