Tortured Soul
What kind of tortured soul am I
that seem to hurt his friends’ everyday,
not that I mean to,
but my actions seem to injure someone
in some shape or form.
Maybe I should run away
and leave the world alone.
I feel at times I am intruding on other people’s lives,
that I should back away
and leave well alone.
Go back to my lonely existence
and stay cuddled up in my cocoon.
Leave the rest of the world alone,
and then maybe I couldn’t hurt anyone
never ever again.
