Mums Are Heroes
Mums are heroes
on duty all day
and every day
the whole year through.
They cloak their offspring
with a forever love,
being there for them
without ever interfering
in everything they do.
Congratulating them
whenever they succeed,
holding their hand in comfort
whenever they feel that they have failed.
Mums are heroes
never shirking their duties
come sickness or winter snow
because without our mums
what would we do.
